Q after Caps game, per George Richards,
"That was a well-played game from our point of view, and we just need some saves to win the game in a game like tonight," Quenneville said Wednesday after the game.
"I think every game is different. Goalies get scrutinized to a different level, but in a game like tonight on the road against a good team, you need timely saves, you need big saves, and that can be the difference."

Until recently, while acknowledging Bob wasn't Vezina Bob, he wasn't as bad as some would say. There's equal blame as they give up goals as a team, in various and sometimes astonishing ways. But the last few games have had a few Ay Caramba! WTF Bob!? moments. Q's sees this might be perfect time to give Bob a day or two off. I'm sure he's a frustrated goalie, lately. Bob's reaction to the second Caps' goal shows it might be a good time for a game off.
They need to break the slide tonight. Maybe they'll play some D for the "rookie".

Weegar coming back is a shot in the arm for FL. And, again per George Richards, Weegar wasn't hit in the face/eye area, he was hit right above the ear, and only needed some stitches, he's been out because of the concussion he received.
Hopefully it won't take him long to regain his game from before the injury.

Yep. This is what I’m saying, Rats. You put Driedger in to send a message and hopefully kickstart the team

Message received, kickstart engaged.
The Panthers can play better defensively! Last night proves it. Driedger was money, but that was the easiest night a Panthers goalie has had in a long time. Driedger calmly and cooly made the saves, and made it easier on the D by just freezing everything. Puck hit him in the chest/stomach all night, very well positioned. Gotta let him start again next game.
My boy Vinny was noticeable last night. LoL, before he dished it out from behind the net to Stralman for the second goal, it looked like he was gonna try the lacrosse move, but the puck fell off his stick and the chance was gone.
